The start line is in the dead center of Tenjin, Fukuoka, where running is not possible on a normal day . The finish line is in Itoshima, an area renowned for beautiful seas and mountains . As you run along this thrilling one way course, the scenery changes from city to nature, with the invigorating ocean breeze and pleasant fragrance of flowers guiding you toward the finish.

Many people line the course to cheer on the runners.With a never ending stream of warm encouragement, including imaginative efforts by local communities along the route and support at the event venues, you are certain to get the boost you need to finish the race.

Runners are sure to be energized by a special menu of delicious and nutritious foods, including local specialties and famous sweets from Fukuoka, as well as items developed especially for runners (planned). At the finish line, you can look forward to a war m welcome from the sponsors and members of the Fukuoka Marathon Itoshima Cooperation Association, who will be serving up local delicacies!
