Rules
All races are administered in accordance with the 2025 Rules of the Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF) and the regulations for this competition.
Events, number of entrants, time limits and entry fees
*1 For the marathon, 1000 for the overseas runner category, will be taken in advance of standard applications.

- (1)The fun run is not a competitive event but is meant for the enjoyment of entrants. Entrants in this event will not have their times recorded or receive awards. Also, the start line for the fun run will be set behind the last blocks for the marathon.
- (2)Time limits are based on gun time.
- (3)Duplicate applications cannot be made for individual entry and group entry.
- (4)Group entry applications are limited to 2 to 10 people per group. In addition, all members of the group must participate in the same event.
Fancy dress
- (1)Entrants competing in the registered athletes section are not permitted to run in fancy dress.
- (2)All other entrants are permitted to wear fancy dress as long as their costume is suitable for a sporting event. Costumes that are offensive to other runners or supporters or which pose a risk to themselves or others are not permitted.
- (3)Entrants are prohibited from inviting non-entrants onto the course to run with them. Entrants are also not allowed to run with baby strollers or pets.
Please be aware that entrants may be disqualified prior to or during events at the discretion of the organizers if they are deemed to have violated any of the above-mentioned points (1)–(3).
Checkpoints
Checkpoints are located at the following places along the course out of consideration for traffic, security and race administration. You will be instructed to drop out of the race in the event that the organizers judge that you will not make it to the next checkpoint by the cut-off time, that your continued participation in the race will affect traffic restrictions, or that you are no longer fit to participate. If you are forced to drop out, please follow the instructions of staff and board a bus.

Model Runner Declaration
In order to make Fukuoka Marathon 2025 a safe, comfortable, and even more pleasant event for everyone, we have put together this list of things we would like you to keep in mind during your daily training and on the day of the event.
1. From when applications open until the days leading up to the event
- (1)Obey traffic rules and take precautions against accidents , such as by wearing a reflective vest when training at night.
- (2)When training, do not park in nearby stores or on the street.
- (3)Be sure to take home any trash.
- (4)Be considerate of pedestrians and do your best not to get in anyone's way.
2. Just before the event
- (1)In case of an emergency, write the necessa ry information on the back of your athlete bib.
- (2)If you are planning to wear fancy dress, double check that your costume does not pose a risk to anyone or whether it may be offensive to other runners or supporters.
- (3)Check the schedule and your starting block in advance.
3. On the day of the event
- (1)Do not overtake other runners in an unreasonable manner or stray from the course.
- (2)Use the designated portable toilets for the Fukuoka Marathon.
- (3)Dispose of any trash from things you receive at fluid and food stations in the designated locations.
- (4)If you rejoin the race after using a first aid station, return to the official course.
- (5)After crossing the finish line, do not stop but continue moving forward slowly.
- (6)Do not stop in front of the baggage claim area or changing rooms and keep out of the way of other runners.
- (7)Do not pick up runners from the venue as this will cause a nuisance to local residents.
- (8)Enjoy the race with a sense of gratitude toward the supporters and volunteers!
